One card for door and locker
The same MIFARE card opens the room and the locker: in hotels, pools, gyms or offices. Reads cards through an 18 mm furniture panel.
Z-Wave and the app
Open with the app, a card or Bluetooth. The lock reports events and battery status, and the door relocks by itself after approx. 5 s.
Optional access method, available on order
Bluetooth 6.0 (BLE) optional, on order
An optional Bluetooth 6.0 (BLE) module, available on order, adds two functions. Hands-free automatic opening: the user carries a wristband or clip with a BLE beacon, and when it comes within the set distance of the lock or Pad, the device opens the passage by itself, according to the assigned permissions and schedule; every opening is logged. This also suits autonomous devices such as robots, AGVs and vehicles that need the right to pass or drive through. Direct connection: the SPACE BMS Manager mobile app communicates with the lock or Pad locally over Bluetooth, without internet.
Accessibility
- Opens with a card, the app or directly over Bluetooth – no small key to turn, easier for people with limited hand mobility.
- With the optional Bluetooth 6.0 module, the locker can open as its authorised user approaches with a wristband, also on a wheelchair – handy in pools, hospitals and schools.
- A child or an older person lost the card? The administrator blocks it and assigns a new one in the app, with no lock change.
